Lunenburg Pullover Yarn Bundle 1-4

Did you know that the Lunenburg Pullover was inspired by Lunenburg, Nova Scotia? Amy Christoffers purchased the Lichen and Lace yarn in our shop and turned it into this magnificent pattern.

This kit contains all the yarn needed to make the Lunenburg Pullover in sizes: 1-4
Bust – 35 (38, 42, 46, 50 1/2)” Length – 21 (21½, 22, 22 23)“ (down center back). An extra skein can be added by checking the box above to make sizes 6-8 Bust – 54, 58, 62” Length – 23½, 24, 24“ (down center back)

Finished measurements are actual measurements round chest after blocking

Lunenburg Pullover is worked from the top down in the round with a ‘Bohus-ish’ stranded yoke. The fit on this garment is easily adapted to suit your taste- choose +/- ease to suit your style. Finished meas-urements are actual measurement around chest/hip after blocking. The length is slightly cropped- if you wish to add additional length to the body please plan your yarn purchases accordingly and be sure to have a little extra of your MC yarn.
The yoke pattern is charted and there is short row shaping after the color work.

Important Yarn Notes:
We have slightly adapted the yarn included in the kit to make it more affordable. The Lichen and Lace Rustic Sport yarn is hand dyed on skeins of Briggs and Little Sport. We have substituted the Dark Grey Briggs and Little for the Lichen and Lace Coal and Sheep Grey Briggs and Little for the Lichen and Lace Birch to keep costs down. The colours are identical and, bonus, since the skeins are larger you won’t have to weave in as many ends!
So this bundle contains Briggs and Little Sport, 100% Canadian Wool 430 yards (393 meters/113g) in Dark Grey for Coal (MC) and Sheep Grey for Birch (CC1)
Lichen and Lace Rustic Sport, 100% Canadian Wool 215 yards (197 m/56g) for Pollen (CC2), Shrub (CC3), Sky (CC4).

NEEDLES and NOTIONS: You will also need 16” and 29” circular needles, sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge 1 set (4) each double pointed needles (dpns), sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm) 1 stitch marker Waste yarn to hold sleeve stitches
